Destination Screens
The destination screens are used for defining destinations where products will be delivered to. In many cases, the Account business entities are the final destination where products are delivered and so the destination is defined via the Accounts screen instead. For this reason, some terminals may infrequently use the destination screen. The destination screens typically only need to be used if the destination defined at the account level is not the final delivery destination for the product, which means that a destination record needs to be created to define that final delivery destination. For example, in an Exchange Customer relationship, the “bill-to” entity would have to be defined at the account level, which would create a need for a destination record for the “ship-to” entity.
The destination screens housed in the Business menu are used to manage most configurations for destinations. Note that most configurations for destinations can be handled completely through the Destinations screen, which can be considered a master screen for most destination related configurations.
